About the Event
Mariah Tyler Moore is a genre-bender by necessity. Her life has never fit into neat categories, so she stopped asking her work to. She founded Radical Resilience, LLC, which she runs as a small press imprint for her novels and as a creative services company offering web design and content work to clients. Mariah has twelve novels published and five more manuscripts in progress. Her #1 Amazon Kindle bestseller, The Spaces Between Us, proved that a story about healing, empathy, and an unfairly adorable dog could top the charts. Library systems from Las Vegas to Sanpete County carry her titles, including a few in the Karen H. Huntsman Library on Snow College's campus.
Radical Resilience is not a marketing angle for Mariah. It's the philosophy she built to survive: a deep-set conviction that our wounds are not weaknesses but wisdom. At sixteen, she fought for and won legal emancipation. She lives as a neurodivergent woman managing autism and multiple chronic illnesses. Mariah does not just talk about grit or resilience from the sidelines; she works daily to build a meaningful legacy.
Mariah covers Central Utah as an independent journalist, a full-circle return to the writing profession she first entered at age twelve. She chairs the Sanpete Cares Coalition and serves as founding president of the Sanpete County Wordsmiths, the first League of Utah Writers chapter in the county. She also founded Writers of Utah, a free Discord community connecting authors across the state. She served as faculty at the 2026 Las Vegas Writers Conference and has been invited to return as faculty in 2028.
